Job summary

Parkview Care Center is seeking a Maintenance Director to plan, organize, and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in a long-term care setting. You will ensure clean, safe, and comfortable facilities by following established policies and procedures as directed by the Administrator.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance programs, coordinating services, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years experience in a maintenance department in health-related facility.
• Knowledgeable of maintenance practices and procedures in nursing care facilities.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to hospital and nursing facility administrative procedures.
• Proficient with computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department's programs and activities.
• Develop and maintain written maintenance policies and procedures.
• Assist with the maintenance staff in the development and use of departmental policies, procedures, equipment, supplies, etc.
