Extended Care, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee planning, organization, staffing, and coordination of maintenance, laundry, and housekeeping departments. The role requires ensuring the facility remains clean and well-maintained while providing essential services for residents.

The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, basic knowledge of maintenance, and familiarity with OSHA and IDPH regulations.

Qualifications

• Some business and personnel management training is preferred.
• Licensure or certification in plumbing, electricity, heating, and air-conditioning is a plus.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and hire personnel.
• Oversee the scheduling of staff for facility operations.
• Supervise purchasing and distribution of supplies.
• Conduct fire, disaster, and evacuation drills.
• Be on-call 24/7 for emergencies and urgent repairs.
• Ensure operation and maintenance of facility equipment.
