Job summary

John Crane, a business of Smiths Group, seeks a Condition Monitoring Engineer or Specialist to join its on-site team at a customer facility. You will operate and develop Condition Monitoring programs, perform routine surveys, analyze vibration data, and report results with corrective maintenance recommendations.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• ISO 18436-2 Category 2 vibration analysis certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in vibration analysis for rotating equipment.
• Experience with mechanical seals is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office and vibration monitoring software.

Responsibilities

• Operate and develop Condition Monitoring programs for client projects.
• Conduct routine Condition Monitoring surveys at client sites.
• Analyze vibration data and report results with maintenance recommendations.
• Interface with clients for on-site delivery of services.
• Perform on-site Pump Performance Testing and reporting.
• Calculate cost-benefit of recommended actions.
• Follow Integrated Management System requirements.
