Job summary

City Brewing Company in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a Maintenance Buyer to support the maintenance department with sourcing and procurement of supplies, parts, and external services, and to manage parts rooms.

You will track vendors, forecast needs with maintenance planners, ensure compliance with safety and GMP policies, and provide reports and data analysis while supervising Inventory Coordinators.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Technical Diploma or coursework in related field preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in similar role preferred.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
• Parts inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders for plant parts.
• Track vendors and orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of items.
• Oversee consumables usage in all work areas.
• Manage parts rooms inventories.
• Work with Maintenance Planners on forecasting upcoming maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with Accounting on approved vendors list.
• Ensure purchases comply with Company policies: Food Safety, Safety, GMP, etc.
• Provide reports and data analysis.
• Supervise Inventory Coordinators.
