Job summary

City Brewing Company – Who We Are LaCrosse, WI is seeking a Maintenance Buyer to source parts, services, and supplies for the maintenance department. You will manage parts rooms and create purchase orders for plant parts, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory control.

The role requires 2+ years' experience, strong communication skills, MS Office proficiency, and CMMS familiarity. You will oversee inventory and collaborate with Maintenance Planners and Accounting while ensuring

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Technical Diploma or coursework in related field preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in similar role preferred.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; must communicate effectively with internal/external customers.
• Parts inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders for all plant parts.
• Track vendors and orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Oversee consumables usage in all work areas.
• Manage parts rooms inventories.
• Work with Maintenance Planners on forecasting maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with Accounting on approved vendors list.
• Ensure purchases comply with Company policies (Food Safety, Safety, GMP).
• Provide reports and data analysis.
• Supervise Inventory Coordinators.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Buyer supports the maintenance departments with sourcing and procurement of supplies, parts and external services. Responsible for management of parts rooms.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with Maintenance Planners on forecasting upcoming maintenance needs.
• Work close with Accounting to on approved vendors list.

• Supervise Inventory Coordinators.

Minimum Qualifications
