Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Wisconsin to train on an 8-hour day shift and transition to a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 rotation. The role covers mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on molding and production equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance scheduling, equipment setup for production runs, and assisting automation technicians.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited two-year technical college program or a four-year university program in a related field, with 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production machinery.
• LOTO and Forklift certifications required.
• Understanding of basic hydraulic and electrical systems and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic prints.
• Basic understanding of ladder logic and/or PLC programming.
• Strong understanding of general workplace and industrial safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Train on an 8-hour day shift before transitioning to a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 rotation.
• Perform repairs and component replacements on molding equipment, automation systems, facilities, HVAC, and other production machinery.
• Execute preventative maintenance plans for molding equipment and provide feedback.
• Assist automation technicians with troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of automation equipment.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on production and support equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance on molding equipment according to schedules.
• Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Recalibrate molding machinery according to annual preventative maintenance requirements.
• Respond to maintenance issues and complete required documentation for each assignment.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs to production equipment during operations.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs during machine service periods.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Work independently on assigned tasks while following direction as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve auxiliary equipment issues.
• Provide written feedback regarding maintenance documentation and troubleshooting records.

• Respond to maintenance issues and complete required documentation for each assignment.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs to production equipment during operations.
