Job summary

Blain's Farm & Fleet in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking a Maintenance Associate to perform customer service and assist with building upkeep and cart retrieval. You will contribute to a smooth, pleasant shopping experience by supporting routines like cart retrieval, loading, and facility cleanliness.

Responsibilities include floor and restroom maintenance, loading assistance, and helping in other departments as needed while adhering to Loss Prevention and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage customers.
• Prior retail experience is preferred to understand store operations.
• Able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Help retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot.
• Load purchases into customer vehicles.
• Monitor and clean parking lot and cart area.
• Scrub and maintain facility floors and restrooms.
• Provide facility maintenance support as needed.
• Assist in other departments as assigned.
• Follow Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures.
