Why the Shop/Maintenance Associate role is important for Bright:

The Shop/Maintenance Associate is part of the team behind the scenes that make memorable moments come to life. As a Shop/Maintenance Associate, you inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance to equipment and buildings when required. The Shop/Maintenance Associate ensures work is performed in a safe manner and that the work area is organized and clean to meet Bright operation standards. Other responsibilities and duties may be assigned to support projects and other departments.

About You:

1. Proven maintenance experience
2. Highly skilled with various hand and power tools
3. Familiarity with building maintenance, equipment repair, and safety compliance
4. Self-motivated, willing to take initiative to complete tasks, while being a team player willing to “jump in and roll up his/her sleeves” to help others
5. Thrives in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and having attention to detail
6. Licensed electrician a plus
7. Carpentry skills a plus

Your Contributions to the Bright Team:

1. Inspect Bright products and ensure they meet standards and make repairs as needed
2. Perform basic building maintenance
3. Additional tasks may be asked but are not limited to painting, sanding, assembling, welding
4. Use a variety of hand and power tools in a safe manner
5. Promote a clean area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
6. Use of PPE and follow all safety procedures at all times

Physical Demands and Abilities:

1. Open availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and overtime as needed
2. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
3. Stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
4. Use of hand and power tools, bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, walking, and/or reaching on a frequent basis
5. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus
