Job description

Kane's is offering an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Associate - Technician who will provide a variety of maintenance services related to our facility and warehouse equipment/vehicles. This key position in our maintenance department seeks critical thinkers and goal-oriented individuals.

This role includes:

1. Knowledge of assembling, installing, or repairing wiring, electrical systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
2. Ability to read and use volt meters, including reading voltage (AC/DC) and performing continuity tests.
3. Warehousing experience, including forklift operation and dock plates, is a plus.
4. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
5. Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools, then reassemble equipment.
6. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
7. Use various tools, including hand tools, power tools, and electronic testing devices.
8. Automotive maintenance experience and welding experience are advantages.
9. Perform other related maintenance functions as required.

Qualified candidates will:

1. Have hands-on experience maintaining industrial equipment and general building maintenance.
2. Possess skills with operating equipment used in skilled trades, power and hand tools, etc., and adhere to safety practices.
3. Meet physical demands, including working at heights up to 40 feet, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, and crawling.
4. Have a valid driver’s license and pass MVR checks.
5. Successfully pass criminal background and drug screening.
