Reports to: Associate Director, Facilities

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Type: Part-Time

Compensation: $17-$20/hr

SUMMARY:

To maintain the offices and public areas in the most professional, neat and tidy manner and to assist the Associate Facilities Director to run all events smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Receive, read and respond to emails relating to event and room setups, work orders, and manually transmitted documents.
2. Follow written and verbal instructions for furniture set ups and break downs.
3. Perform porter duties as requested.
4. Perform standard and detailed cleaning tasks for office spaces, restrooms, and various work areas as well as in event spaces especially before and after events and during emergencies.
5. Perform additional duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. High School Diploma, or G.E.D.
2. Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ working experience with building mechanical equipment and housekeeping.
3. Ability to work well independently, as well as collaborate as part of a team.
4. Reliable, responsible, and able to consistently meet deadlines with work that meets or exceeds expectations.
5. Ability to adapt to changes in scheduled set ups and changes as needed.
6. Willing to work flexible hours and days.
7. Willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary Range: $17-$20/hr

Compensation within this range is determined by skills, experience, and organizational equity.
