Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is hiring Maintenance Associates to support facility improvements across our New Mexico nursing centers. You will be involved in renovations, repairs, and general upkeep to ensure safe, comfortable environments for patients and residents.

The role requires basic maintenance skills, a high school diploma, and willingness to travel between sites within New Mexico. On-site work and occasional on-call coverage are expected, with a competitive hourly wage and travel

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license to travel between sites (travel reimbursement provided).

• Maintain building and grounds in a clean, safe condition.
• Perform minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings and beds.
• Assist with electrical equipment, sprinkling systems, HVAC filters and safety systems.

Responsibilities

Are you a handy, detail-oriented individual who loves to keep things running smoothly? We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Associate to join our team.

In this role you will support special projects focused on facility improvements, renovations, repairs, and enhancing the overall appearance and functionality of our nursing centers throughout the New Mexico market. Position Highlights

• Facility & Grounds Care: Maintain building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Take proper care of all company tools and equipment.
• Minor Repairs & Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, and geriatric chairs.
• Systems Support: Assist with basic functions regarding electrical equipment, sprinkling systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and extinguishers. Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Logistics: Carry, lift, and stock supplies as needed.
• Leadership & Coverage: Remain on-call 24 hours a day when assigned and assume supervisor s responsibilities in their absence.
• Customer Service First: Ensure that our customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that respects individual needs and rights.

Posted Salary Range

USD $18.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
