Job summary

Complete Care at Grande Prairie is hiring a Full-Time Maintenance Assistant for day shift. The role includes troubleshooting building systems, performing repairs, and preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks. Independent work and team collaboration are required, with basic computer skills and a High School diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous experience in a long-term care (LTC) setting is preferred but not required.
• Experience performing basic building repairs and maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• Completion of a maintenance apprenticeship is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to maintenance needs in a timely manner.
