Job summary

A Maintenance Assistant position at Award Care at Beneva Villas focuses on maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current standards and regulations. The role emphasizes teamwork and dedication to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years' experience as a building trade helper or equivalent preferred.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
• Assist with all repairs, preventative maintenance, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving.
• Maintain the facility grounds.
• Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
• Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills, as requested.
• Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results.
