Job summary

Rockport Healthcare Services is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a long-term care center. The role encompasses technical, administrative and supervisory duties to ensure safety, comfort and compliance.

The candidate should have experience in trades and familiarity with plant support systems; responsibilities include preventative maintenance, training staff, and potential interim director duties at the center. This position requires on-site work and a professional, service-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• One year experience in a long term care center preferred.
• Ability to read and write English for business necessity.
• Ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.
• One year experience in basic trades preferred.
• Working knowledge of plant support systems (cooling/heating, emergency systems) preferred.

• Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
