Zusammenfassung

The Hilltop at Blue River is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support plant operations. You will help keep the facility safe, comfortable, and compliant, performing routine preventive maintenance and assisting with basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs to serve residents and staff.

Candidates with one year of experience in a long-term care center and strong English reading/writing skills will fit well.

Qualifikationen

• One year experience in a long term care center preferred.
• Ability to read and write English for business necessity.
• Ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.
• One year experience in basic trades preferred.
• Working knowledge of plant support systems (cooling/heating, emergency systems) preferred.

Job Title: Maintenance Assistant

Reports to: Director of Plant Maintenance

Principal Responsibilities:

TECHNICAL

• Ensures a safe, comfortable, sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate requirements.
• Performs preventative maintenance procedures.
• Requires full range of body motion.

ADMINISTRATIVE

• Maintains equipment necessary to meet Center needs.
• Understands department budget.
• Maintains written records and documents of services performed according to Federal, Sate and Corporate requirements.
• May train personnel to meet Center needs.
• Participates in assigned meetings and in-services.

SUPERVISORY

• May assume role of Director in his absence.
