Job summary

LCB Senior Living, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for The Residence at Basking Ridge. The role involves routine maintenance, cleaning, and safety checks to ensure a well-maintained, safe living environment for residents. Experience in healthcare maintenance is preferred, with HVAC certification seen as a plus.

Applicant will work with outside vendors and uphold LCB’s high safety standards. Position is full-time, offering benefits from Day One and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• OSHA standards and local fire codes knowledge required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Requires frequent heavy lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing and stretching.
• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; HVAC certificate preferred.
• Experience: Four or more years maintenance experience; healthcare setting preferred.
• Certificates/Licenses: Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of residence equipment.
• Maintain the grounds and building for safety and appearance.
• Work with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
• Clean residents' rooms and common areas, including housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Replace burned-out light bulbs and ensure safety of exits and lighting.
• Assist with general housekeeping and laundry as necessary.
• Follow safety procedures and precautions in environmental services.

Works with outside contractors as needed. Responsible for cleaning residents rooms and residence common areas including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, polishing, mopping, disinfecting, etc. Discards waste into proper containers, replaces light bulbs and assists with any general housekeeping/laundry duties as necessaryQUALIFICATIONS:a.
