Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our field operations team in Hooksett, NH. You will learn on the job, perform hands-on tasks, and help keep properties clean, safe, and well cared for, with growth toward a Maintenance Technician role under the supervision of a Maintenance Supervisor.

Daily duties include cleaning, trash removal, seasonal snow shoveling and lawn care, and assisting with deliveries between properties.

About the Role

Looking for hands-on work where you can learn a trade while you earn? As a Maintenance Assistant, you'll be a key part of our field operations team. You'll help keep our properties clean, safe, and well cared for, and you'll learn the skills to grow into a full Maintenance Technician role. You'll report directly to our Maintenance Supervisor, so you'll learn on the job from day one.

What You'll Do

• Handle general cleaning and upkeep of buildings and grounds
• Remove trash and debris so properties stay safe and presentable
• Take on seasonal work like snow shoveling in winter and lawn care in summer
• Make delivery runs and haul materials between properties (heavy lifting involved)
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor with daily tasks and property needs as they come up

What We're Looking For

• A strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
• Willingness to learn and take pride in caring for properties as if they were your own
• A smartphone and reliable daily transportation
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 0–2 years of experience. This is an entry-level role, and we'll train the right person.

Nice to Have

• Experience driving a Ford F-450 or similar heavy-duty truck while towing a trailer

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts. Weekends are yours.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Stand, sit, and walk frequently throughout the day
• Walk for extended periods across properties and grounds
