Arcadia Care in Illinois seeks a Maintenance Assistant to help plan, organize, and direct the Maintenance Department’s daily operations, ensuring the facility is safe and comfortable for residents and staff.

You will repair facility/property, coordinate maintenance with other departments and outside vendors, and supervise safety programs while inspecting work areas and equipment to maintain a compliant and well-kept environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and related mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Repair facility and resident property; coordinate maintenance with other departments and external vendors.
• Supervise safety and fire protection programs; inspect work areas and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
