Job summary

VOALA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant II to handle minor repairs and routine building and grounds upkeep at the Los Angeles complex. The role requires independent work, flexible hours, and ability to lead maintenance teams on tasks that may involve multiple staff.

Responsibilities include inspecting buildings, performing carpentry, plumbing, painting and refurbishing work, stocking tools, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks including employment and education verifications.
• Ability to work on-site with flexible hours and lead maintenance teams.
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or construction is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior of buildings, parking lots and grounds.
• Perform minor repairs: carpentry, plumbing, painting, refurbishing and cleaning.
• Assist in major repairs as directed by supervisor or lead tech.
• Inspect premises to preempt maintenance issues and ensure safety compliance.
• Lead teams on assigned repairs and manage tools and stock.
