OPCO Skilled Management seeks a Maintenance Assistant to oversee facility maintenance, ensuring a sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment in good repair and free from hazards.

The role reports to the Plant Supervisor or Operations Manager and requires a High School diploma with knowledge of laundry, housekeeping and maintenance procedures; a minimum of 2 years in long-term care is preferred but not required. Schedule: 8AM-5PM. Benefits available for full-time employees.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Perform regular, scheduled safety inspections.
• Follow Life Safety and Preventative Maintenance tasks in TELS to ensure compliance.
• Prepare a monthly schedule for preventive maintenance.
• Document maintenance activities and parts used.
• Maintain required logs/documentation per Life Safety Manual and OSHA.
• Perform daily rounds and establish work priority.
• Process work orders via the TELS system.
• Maintain electrical and mechanical equipment in good working order.
• Lubricate and clean parts; report serious failures and problems.
• Prepare resident rooms for new or discharged residents.
• Other duties may be assigned.
