Job summary

Fundamental in Georgetown, SC is seeking a Maintenance Worker to support the Maintenance Director in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and upkeep of the facility. You will assist with general maintenance tasks to keep the facility compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities include painting, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, grounds maintenance, and preventative maintenance, with healthcare facility experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D required.
• Knowledgeable on various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems required; HVAC certification a plus.
• Knowledge of safety regulations required.
• Reliable source of transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Maintenance experience preferred; especially in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director with the overall safety, appearance, and maintenance of the facility in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local requirements at all times.
• Take part in painting, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, grounds maintenance, and preventative maintenance

Education

Mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems knowledge
