Job summary

HopeHealth, Inc. in Florence, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for routine building upkeep across our facilities.

You will inspect structures, perform minor electrical, painting, carpentry and masonry tasks, replace air filters, move furniture, and respond to Help Desk tickets from Practice Administrators. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus maintenance experience and a valid driver's license; an associate’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; An associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field preferred.
• Related maintenance experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to present a 10 year driving record upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair making notes and recommendations
• Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.)
• Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brushes, sprayers, or rollers to apply paints, stains, and varnishes; hanging doors fitting locks and handles, etc.)
• Respond to Help Desk Tickets and request from Practice Administrators in a timely matter
• Must be able to work flexible hours; some weekends and evenings maybe required
• Responsible for moving furniture and medical equipment
• Replace air conditioning filters
• Clean Snow and debris from sidewalk if needed
• Other duties as assigned
