We are currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team! As an official Universal Orlando Partner Hotel, our Home2 Suites is located off I-4, just minutes from shopping, dining, and entertainment on International Drive. We are one mile from Universal Orlando and 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport. Our all-suite hotel features 121 spacious rooms to serve our guests. We offer a daily free hot breakfast and a scheduled shuttle service to Universal Orlando Resort. Home2 Suites is one of 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning Buffalo Lodging Associates.
Job Details: Reports to the Chief Engineer. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with potential for higher compensation based on experience.
The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the hotel property and assisting the Chief Engineer with:
Typical shifts: Evening shift from 3 pm to 11 pm. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.
What You Bring: At least 2 years of experience in building maintenance and repair; hotel experience is a plus. Skills in electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance are required. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing, and twisting. Valid driver’s license is required.
