Winder Center for Nursing and Healing in Winder, GA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, clean, and fully functional for residents and staff.

You will perform basic repairs, handle equipment, and maintain grounds, while delivering friendly, compassionate service to residents, families, and teammates in a supportive environment.

Required: High School Diploma; maintenance knowledge preferred; LTC experience not required but welcome as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Has a High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Possesses some basic knowledge or experience in maintenance (preferred).
• Has previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC), though this is not required.
• Is eager to learn and contribute to a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Facility maintenance: keep building and grounds clean, safe, orderly.
• Repairs & upkeep: handle minor repairs (filters, plumbing, carpentry).
• Equipment management: manage and maintain tools and equipment.
• Customer service: provide compassionate service to residents, families, and team members.
