Job summary

The Northbridge Companies in Farmington, CT is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our on-site team. This full-time role runs 8am-4pm with rotating weekends and focuses on keeping our properties well maintained and safe for residents and staff.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate with the Maintenance Director, respond to requests promptly, and help create a welcoming, comfortable community.

Qualifications

• It's great if you've fixed things before, but we'll teach you if you're eager to learn.
• Know how to do preventive maintenance to stop problems before they happen.
• Work with others effectively.

Responsibilities

• Fix both small and big problems to keep our community running smoothly.
• Do regular maintenance to make sure everything looks nice and is comfortable for residents and staff.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Director to update them on systems, issues and remedies.
• Quickly and effectively respond to maintenance requests to keep residents safe and happy.
• Keep your work area clean and organized, and always follow safety rules.
