Tarantino Properties is seeking Maintenance Assistants to ensure the upkeep of our community in the Houston area. You will handle routine maintenance, make-ready tasks, and on-call emergency support to keep buildings functioning smoothly.

The role emphasizes reliability, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage a variety of tasks, from HVAC and plumbing to pool equipment maintenance. This is a full-time position with rotating on-call duties.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• Pool certification preferred.
• Experience with apartment maintenance and make-ready processes.
• Experience with work order systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation.
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units.
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs.
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation.

Tarantino Properties is currently seeking Maintenance Assistants to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds through routine procedures and special work orders of our community in the Houston - Briar Forest area.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation
• This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.

Requirements
