Job summary

Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a maintenance worker to operate equipment, perform routine upkeep, and support daily facility operations at one location in Town of Delhi, NY.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. General maintenance experience is preferred. This is an on-site role with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment and keep in good repair.
• Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Move large equipment in and out of the facility.
• Run errands requiring a motor vehicle.
• Assist with preventative maintenance duties.
• Complete routine tasks with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions

1. Must operate machinery and equipment, maintain in good repair, and store in an orderly fashion.
2. Be able to handle and use simple electrical and plumbing equipment and make minor repairs.
3. Be able to carry, push, and pull large equipment in and out of facility.
4. Run errands as needed for supplies - requires driving a motor vehicle.
5. Assist with Preventative Maintenance duties as instructed.
6. Accurately completes routine tasks without the need of direct supervision.
