Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks around the facility, including painting, minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC upkeep.

• Address safety hazards and maintain a clean interior and exterior.
• Complete administrative duties and report maintenance statuses to supervisor.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and keep inventory of supplies.

A Maintenance assistant will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. Some other tasks a Maintenance assistant may be called upon to do include:

• Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance

• Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems

• Attention to detail

• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries

• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner

• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building

• Clean interior of the building, as well as machinery and equipment, and exterior of the building

• Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to supervison

• Comply with all safety and health regulations

• Keep inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and equipment, and report needs to supervisor

• Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs

Job Type: Full-time with benefits: Insurance, vision, dental, 401K, short term disability, life insurance and much more.

Pay: From $15.00 - 17.00 per hour (Based on Ecxperience)
