Position: Maintenance Technician

Our community is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. Responsibilities include:

1. Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties around the community grounds.
2. Completing service requests for repairs and maintenance of grounds, buildings, and equipment.
3. Tasks may include fixing wall and floor coverings, repairing furniture and fixtures, basic plumbing and electrical work, appliance repairs, painting, HVAC, refrigeration, carpet, and hard surface maintenance, and preparing rooms as needed.

Qualifications:

1. At least one year of maintenance experience.
2. Availability to be on call if needed.
3. Understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and code compliance.
4. Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, and safety regulations.
5. Ability to respond to emergency calls outside scheduled hours.
6. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
7. Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
