Job summary

Eden Senior Care’s Edenbrook Sheboygan is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environments for residents.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC), painting and drywall repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance, and coordination with other staff. Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, and life insurance, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician with painting, HVAC and general maintenance.
• Valid and active driver's license, preferably class D or CDL.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Edenbrook Sheboygan is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well‑being in a warm and supportive environment.

Position: Maintenance Assistant

• Monday to Fridays
• 7:30 AM to 4 PM (with some flexibility if needed)
• $20-$26/hour
• Experience with light plumbing, electrical, moving furniture, painting, etc. is required.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Conduct painting and drywall repairs as needed to maintain the appearance of our facilities.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Assist in the planning and execution of preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory levels.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, with specific expertise in painting, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.

• Experience with minor plumbing, painting, fixing things, hanging things, minor electrical, lawn mowing, some minor snow removal, etc. is required.
