Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping the Landon Ridge Alamo Ranch community in top condition. This full-time role covers independent living, assisted living, and memory care settings, with responsibilities across building systems, grounds, and safety.

The position requires basic residential maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• 6 months of work experience in residential maintenance items.
• HVAC certification or credential.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director (lighting, AC filters, painting, plumbing, minor carpentry, sheet rock).
• Assist with maintenance of all community areas and assets (grounds, fences, parking, pools, equipment).
• Maintain service equipment, power tools, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records and use the work order system to track repairs.
• Conduct daily inspections of building, grounds, and equipment to promote safety.
