Sagora Ellery Arbor Memory Care in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director. You will help keep the community and equipment in good working order and ensure safety for residents and staff.

This full‑time, on‑site role offers hands-on tasks across facilities, grounds, HVAC, carpentry and plumbing, with a strong team culture, competitive benefits and opportunities to advance within Sagora.

Qualifications

• 6 months of work experience in a position handling residential maintenance items.
• Experience with sheet rock, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and light fixtures in building maintenance.
• Thorough understanding of building and fire safety.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively with residents, family, and staff.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders as requested by the Maintenance Director.
• Change light bulbs and AC filters; assist with painting and plumbing.
• Perform light carpentry and repair sheet rock; assist with general maintenance tasks.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records and use the work order system.
• Conduct daily inspections of building, grounds, and equipment.
• Promote safety for residents, visitors, and staff; identify and resolve hazards.
• Assist with maintenance of grounds, fences, parking areas, and community facilities.
