Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping the community safe, clean and well-maintained. The role covers general maintenance tasks across the residence, grounds, and equipment, with emphasis on quality and resident comfort.

Candidates should have basic maintenance experience, the ability to lift 50–100 lbs, read and communicate in English, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in residential maintenance.
• Experience with sheet rock, carpentry, plumbing, painting, light fixtures and general maintenance.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to lift 50–100 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Maintain community grounds, fences, parking areas, and facilities.
• Inspect building, grounds, and equipment daily for safety and upkeep.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and use of tools and equipment.
• Promote safety for residents, visitors, and staff; report hazards.
