Primrose Retirement Communities - Maintenance Assistant

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring for a Maintenance Assistant responsible for assisting the Property Maintenance Technician with the overall maintenance and appearance of the community, ensuring that the community and related equipment are in good working order.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record
  • Knowledge of building maintenance and common tools
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and respond to emergency calls outside scheduled hours
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions
  • Good motor coordination and depth perception for tasks such as driving and working with tools
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Compassion and desire to work with the elderly daily
  • Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with residents, visitors, and co-workers
