Salary: $15.00 per hour

Hanover Township is looking to fill six (6) Seasonal Summer Maintenance Assistant positions. The Seasonal Summer Maintenance Assistant is responsible for general duties including the operation of light equipment, facility and infrastructure maintenance, mowing, event set-up assistance, and other duties as assigned.

The hours are typically Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm. Evening and weekend hours may be required based on need.

The seasonal position lasts approximately 16 weeks, typically beginning in mid to late May and ending in August or mid-September. This is a non-exempt, temporary position with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be 18 years or older. Offers of employment are subject to successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Requires the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
