Job summary

River Point Farms is seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our local farm team. The Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to assigned departments and business functions to help ensure efficient and effective business processes.

Responsibilities include maintaining files and databases, handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, compiling reports, and supporting sales, operations, and finance activities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of administrative or office experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic organizational and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to assigned department leaders and team members.
• Maintain files, records, databases, and other business documentation.
• Enter, update, and verify information in company systems.
• Answer phones, manage correspondence, and respond to routine inquiries.
• Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars, travel, or events as needed.
• Prepare standard reports, presentations, and business documents.
• Assist with department-specific processes, transactions, and reporting requirements.
• Maintain office supplies and support general office operations.
• Follow company policies regarding confidentiality, safety, and record retention.
• Supports sales activities through customer communications, sales reporting, contract administration and coordination of customer-facing processes.
• Supports any operational function through coordination, documentation, reporting, record management, and administrative support activities.
• Supports financial activities through invoice processing, reporting, recordkeeping, and transaction administration.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
