Hours: 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday 10:00AM to 5:00PM

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Responsible for routine, preventative and emergency maintenance as directed by the Facilities Manager.
  • Prioritize assigned work orders to complete in a timely manner.
  • Immediately report assessments and safety concerns to Facilities Manager.
  • Annual NBHA housing review and meetings with housing, including ongoing liaison with housing.
  • Respond to emergency and after hours calls if needed.
  • Pick up and/or transport supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Travel between agency locations.
  • Access and ready agency email account at least weekly.
  • Assists with regular maintenance and emergencies regarding agency vehicles.
  • Maintain a professional, safe, and clean work environment.
  • Comply with OSHA Safety policies and regulations.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Physical activities include but not limited to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, pulling, etc.
  • Exerting in excess of 100 lbs. of force occasionally.
  • Subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.
  • The worker is subject to hazards such as moving parts, moving vehicles, etc.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, U.S. driver’s license for three years.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Ability to properly and safely use hand tools, and/or instruments and cleaning agents.
  • Ability to follow direction and work both independently and as a team.
  • Use of your personal vehicle is required. Mileage is reimbursed.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a CORI check, Drug Test, and a Driving Record Check.

Salary: $25.00 per hour
