Job summary

Napa Post Acute in Napa, CA is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to help keep our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility safe, clean, and comfortable for residents, visitors, and staff.

You will perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks, routine maintenance, respond to requests, and help keep grounds organized. Prior maintenance or handyman experience is preferred, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities, building services, or handyman work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Healthcare, skilled nursing, senior living, or hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general building maintenance and repairs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting projects.
• Maintain grounds and outdoor areas as needed.
• Assist with equipment inspections and minor repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility standards.
• Transport supplies and equipment when necessary.
• Keep maintenance areas organized and stocked.
