Job Description

Full Time, Tuesday‑Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for keeping our residents’ living areas clean and well‑maintained to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detail‑oriented, and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Director in identifying needed repairs or replacements in apartments, rooms, common areas, landscaping, parking areas, etc.
• Complete work orders from residents and staff
• Assist with preventative maintenance to refurbish or replace deteriorating items and avoid costly repairs
• Complete special projects as directed

Qualifications

• Previous experience of at least 1 year in general maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state.
• Must be knowledgeable of maintenance practices and procedures in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc. Willing to train the correct person.
