Job description

Northwestern College is seeking applications for a full-time maintenance position. This is an evening shift position, Tuesday through Saturday, with a flexible schedule based on events. This position will consist of setting up, taking down, and cleaning during and after events in multiple buildings across the campus, assisting with maintenance and custodial needs throughout the buildings, helping with freight deliveries, and other custodial tasks. This position will require 40 hours per week and may include working seasonal evening or weekend events.

Prior custodial and supervisory experience is preferred. Candidates must have the ability to perform physically demanding work and be able to regularly lift 20 to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Good communication skills are also essential as the person in this position regularly greets the public; communicates with parents, students, faculty and staff; and supervises several student employees.
