Job summary

Luverne Health and Rehabilitation LLC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping the facility and grounds in good repair. You will assist with maintenance tasks on both indoor and outdoor areas, helping to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

The role requires hands-on experience with basic trades, the ability to read instructions, and a patient, proactive attitude toward elderly residents.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with mechanics, carpentry, electrical, painting; minimum 1 year experience in related field.
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written or oral diagram or schedule form.
• Ability to organize work schedule to meet work order demands.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Must be capable of performing the essential job functions and physical and sensory requirements.

Responsibilities
