Job summary

NHS Management, LLC seeks a Maintenance Assistant to help maintain the facility grounds and assist with general maintenance inside and outside the facility. You will work under the direction of the Maintenance Director and support a team dedicated to patient care by keeping the environment safe and well-maintained.

The role requires basic experience with trades, ability to read instructions, and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanics, carpentry, electrical and painting.
• Minimum of one year experience in related field.
• Ability to interpret written or oral instructions.
• Ability to organize work schedule to meet work orders.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Must be patient, tactful and have a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled.
• Must speak, read, write and understand English.
• Must be capable of performing essential job functions and physical requirements.

Under the direction of the Maintenance Director, the Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintaining the facility grounds and assisting with general maintenance services inside and outside the facility.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with mechanics, carpentry, electrical, painting etc. Minimum of one (1) year experience in related field
• Ability to interpret a variety of instruction furnished in written or oral diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to organize work schedule to meet work order demands
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Must be capable of performing the ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL JOB FUNCTIONS
