Job summary

Crestwood Behavioral Health is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in California. The role supports maintenance, repair, and modification of facilities, ensuring safety and reliability of building systems and grounds.

You will follow a written maintenance program and document work performed, contributing to a stable, well-maintained campus for residents and staff. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in general maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, or related fields,

Title: Maintenance Assistant

Job Duties: The Maintenance Assistant must possess the ability to perform a variety of duties, including assisting with the maintenance/repair and modification of the building, its utility systems, and grounds; follow a written planned maintenance program on various mechanical, electrical, and systems equipment, as well as the necessary documentation as required in permanent files.

Qualifications:

• A high school graduate/GED preferred.
• At least one year inoneof the following fields: (a) general maintenance (institution or building), (b) carpentry or facility construction, (c) plumbing and/or electricity, (d) appliance maintenance. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate, understand, and carry out directions or instructions, both written and verbal, as well as work independently.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Pay Range:

$24 - $24 USD
