Crestwood is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in California to support maintenance, repair, and modification of our building, utility systems, and grounds. You will follow a planned maintenance program and document activities to keep facilities running smoothly.

Job Duties

The Maintenance Assistant must possess the ability to perform a variety of duties, including assisting with the maintenance/repair and modification of the building, its utility systems, and grounds; follow a written planned maintenance program on various mechanical, electrical, and systems equipment, as well as the necessary documentation as required in permanent files.

Qualifications

• A high school graduate/GED preferred.
• At least one year in oneof the following fields: (a) general maintenance (institution or building), (b) carpentry or facility construction, (c) plumbing and/or electricity, (d) appliance maintenance. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate, understand, and carry out directions or instructions, both written and verbal, as well as work independently.
