Job summary

VIVO Healthcare University is offering a temporary full-time Maintenance Assistance role. The technician will perform general maintenance across the property, including grounds and the physical plant. Responsibilities include painting, flooring, basic plumbing and carpentry, window and wall repairs, and lighting fixture work.

Communication with the maintenance director is required if items cannot be repaired internally; AHCA background screening is mandatory for this position.

Qualifications

• This position requires background screening through AHCA Care Provider Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of the property incl. grounds and physical plant.
• Paint chipped or faded areas.
• Install or repair vinyl flooring.
• Basic plumbing such as fixture repair.
• Basic carpentry such as rail repair and drawer pulls.
• Repair windows and walls.
• Repair light fixtures and replace bulbs.
• Communicate with maintenance director for external assistance when needed.

Please note this is a temporary FT Maintenance Assistance position.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance of the property including grounds and physical plant including but not limited to:

• Painting, chipped, faded or scheduled areas
• Vinyl Flooring
• Basic plumbing such as fixture repair/replacement to avoid water damage,
• Basic carpentry such as hand rail repair, dresser drawer pull repair
• Window, wall repair
• Light fixture repair
• Replace light bulbs

Communicates to maintenance director if not able to properly repair item as needed of repair in order to obtain external assistance when necessary.

Background Screening Requirement:

This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
