Job summary

Geneva Lake Manor is seeking a maintenance worker to join our team. The role supports the Maintenance Director with daily upkeep, repairs, painting, and landscaping, while ensuring exterior entrances are clean and safe. You will handle trash removal, hazardous materials, and supplies distribution, with occasional window cleaning and furniture moving.

Schedule includes weekends as needed. The position is Non-exempt and open to PT/FT arrangements, with flexibility to cover shifts and holidays as

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and upkeep
• Working with hand and power tools
• General knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and electrical

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director with daily upkeep, general repairs, painting, landscape upkeep, and other duties as assigned.
• Keep exterior entrances clean in a safe manner, paying particular attention to front, side, and emergency entrances.
• Remove and transport trash, infectious waste, hazardous materials, and linen from designated areas.
• Perform special and extra duties as instructed by supervisor, including window cleaning, wall washing, furniture moving, unloading trucks, and delivering supplies.
• Report to work when scheduled and demonstrate flexibility.
• Use work time productively; take care of equipment and supplies properly, showing cost-conscious use of supplies and keeping breaks and lunches within allotted times.
