Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living, Willowbrook, IL is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning community for residents, families, and staff. You will complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders, perform basic repairs, and assist with painting and refurbishing projects.

You will support HVAC and mechanical systems, conduct preventative maintenance and safety checks, maintain tools and inventory, and participate in safety drills and emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures).
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects.
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory.
• Assist with suite make-ready preparation.
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills.
• Drive community vehicle as assigned.
