Job summary

Mission Valley Post Acute is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant for a full-time role at our facility. You will help keep the building safe, clean, and well-maintained for residents, families, visitors, and staff, performing basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance skills, is detail-oriented, and can work independently while communicating professionally with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, apartments, hotels, commercial or building maintenance is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep throughout the facility.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair tasks.
• Maintain resident rooms, common areas, offices, and outdoor areas.
• Inspect equipment, fixtures, and facility areas and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections.
