Job summary

Village Green Health and Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Director. We are looking for someone who is dependable, driven, hard working, and has a working knowledge of maintenance-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have the capacity to learn the roles and responsibilities of the Maintenance Director for future advancement.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn the duties of the Maintenance Director for future advancement.

Responsibilities

• Daily room rounds.
• Daily, weekly, monthly, and annual safety checks.
• Plant maintenance including painting and furniture repairs.
• Other repairs or installations as needed.
• Coordinate contractors for outsourced work.
• Use technology for work orders and inspections cataloging.

The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for, but not limited to:

• daily room rounds
• daily, weekly, monthly, and annual safety checks
• plant maintenance to include painting, furniture repairs, other repairs, or installations
• coordination of contractors for outsourced work
• ability to use technology for work orders and other cateloging of inspections
