Job summary

You will coordinate daily maintenance with nursing, assist with repairs and preventative projects, and help ensure resident comfort and safety. We value teamwork, dedication, and compassionate service to residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years’ experience as a building trade helper, apprentice or equivalent preferred.
• Candidates should be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
• Assist with all repairs, preventative maintenance, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving.
• Maintain the facility grounds.
• Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
• Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills, as requested.
• Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results.
